Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro is optimistic that midfielder Alhassan Yusuf would be fit to play Nigeria’s next game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Yusuf, who made his competitive debut for the Super Eagles against the Nzalang Nacional was stretchered off in the second half and was replaced by Joe Aribo.
The Royal Antwerp midfielder put up an excellent effort throughout the contest.
