Joe Hugill has left Manchester United to join League One club Burton Albion on loan for the duration of the season.
This comes after the youthful Academy striker signed a new agreement with the Reds on Wednesday.
Recall that Hugill signed a contract which will keep him with the club until 2026, with the option of an extra year.
Hugill has trained regularly with Man United’s first squad under boss Erik ten Hag this season.
He was picked as a substitute by Ten Hag on four occasions, most recently for Monday’s 2-0 Emirates FA Cup triumph at Wigan Athletic.
Hugill will now acquire vital experience at the Pirelli Stadium.
