Despite the excitement of the 2024 season for Ole Miss, head coach Lane Kiffin is not taking his eyes off the ball, as expected. Kiffin and Ole Miss have made offers to some strong high school recruits this week.
Tavias Gordon – 2025, RB
Ole Miss became the second collegiate team to offer 2025 running back Tavias Gordon, after Georgia Tech. The Louisiana native finished his junior season with 211 carries, 1,918 yards, and 23 touchdowns.
Joakim Dodson – 2025, WR
2025 According to 247 sports, Tennessee wide receiver Joakim Dodson is now a three-star prospect. This season, Dodson was named first-team 6A Region 8, the strongest region in Tennessee. He is also regarded as the state’s number 16 player.
Ryder Lyons – 2026, QB
Folsom High School quarterback Ryder Lyons is already attracting interest from major college schools. Lyons led Folsom to a D1 state championship as a sophomore, with 3,600 passing yards, 950 running yards, and 61 touchdowns.
Aj Rice – 2025, LB
Last Monday, Ole Miss extended an offer to linebacker Aj Rice, who is presently committed to rivals Mississippi State. Rice is a three-star talent who is ranked 23rd among Alabama players by 247sports.
Davian Groce – 2026, WR/RB
Davian Groce, a UA All-American, plays both receiver and running back. However, 247sports lists him as a running back. Despite being a 2026 recruit, Groce is a large running back, standing at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. The Texas native is a fierce runner.
Hezekiah Harris – 2026, Edge
Hezekiah Harris has a composite five-star rating and is the top edge player. Harris, a first-team Max Preps All-American, has offers from some of the greatest collegiate teams, including his home state of Alabama.
