Georgia tight end Brock Bowers said Wednesday on NBC’s “Pro Football Talk” that if he could choose his NFL draft destination, the Tennessee Titans would be his top option.
The two-time Mackey Award winner and three-time All-American is likely to be the first tight end picked in the April draft. Most mock draft experts believe Bowers will go somewhere in the top 15 — possibly as high as No. 5 to the Chargers. Tennessee currently has the No. 7 overall pick.
“Whoever wants to take me? “It’s difficult to say,” Bowers replied when asked about his favorite team. “I would be fine with heading to the Tennessee Titans. I liked it down in Georgia (and Tennessee). I thought it was cool. That would.

Bowers, a Napa, California native, declared for the draft following one of the best collegiate football seasons ever. In three seasons at Georgia, he accumulated 2,538 receiving yards, 26 touchdown catches, and five touchdown rushes. At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, he lined up both inside and outside in Georgia’s offense, serving as the focal point of the passing attack.
Brock Bowers wants to be drafted by 1 team
Most NFL Draft candidates, at least publicly, are not fussy about which team selects them, or at least avoid favoring one landing site over another. Brock Bowers, Georgia’s tight end, appears to be an exception.
Bowers spoke with NBC Sports’ Chris Simms about the impending draft and did not shy away from answering the issue of which team he wants to play for. The tight end has picked the Tennessee Titans as his preferred landing location.
Bowers is a California native, but the Titans would let him stay close to Georgia. The Titans, who have the seventh pick, also need offensive weapons, and Bowers, coming off a spectacular collegiate career, would surely suit the bill.
In three seasons with the Bulldogs, Bowers caught 175 passes for 2,538 yards and 26 touchdowns. He was also a consensus All-American in 2023 and is by far the draft’s top tight end prospect.trsd
