One betting site is offering odds that Bears quarterback Justin Fields will end up in Seattle.
The Bears gave up a lot to get Justin Fields, trading up with the Giants in the 2021 NFL Draft, and after three seasons in the league, it appears Chicago is still not convinced Fields is their long-term quarterback.
While the Seahawks are in the midst of a transition following the hiring of new head coach Mike Macdonald, the team may also be looking for a quarterback change.
Geno Smith has one year remaining on his three-year, $75 million contract, and the organization may want to move on sooner if a better, more appealing candidate emerges. Macdonald and the crew might determine Fields is that man.

DraftKings has set odds on the Bears dealing Fields this offseason, with the Seahawks having the sixth-best chance of landing Fields. The Bears have the first pick in the April NFL Draft and have been linked to USC’s Caleb Williams, who might be Fields’ replacement in Chicago.
However, the reasons the Bears would consider moving on from Fields could be the same reasons the Seahawks are reticent to do so. A lifetime 82.3 quarterback rating with 40 career touchdowns and 30 career interceptions isn’t the best look. Furthermore, the fact that the former Ohio State Buckeye has yet to complete a full season in the NFL does not help.
Smith might continue in Seattle as the starter until 2024 and even beyond, but DraftKings believes the odds suggest otherwise.
