Andrews is joining New York’s 40-man roster. To make way for Andrews, the Yankees placed right-handed reliever Scott Effross on the 60-day disabled list after undergoing offseason back surgery.The Brewers have not disclosed any matching moves. Quezada, 19 years old, signed with the Yankees in January 2023. Last season, he went 6-0 in the Dominican Summer League, with a 3.69 ERA, 1.165 WHIP, and 9.3 strikeouts per nine innings in 46.1 innings and 11 games.
