Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss held top honors in the transfer portal as the No. 1 class following signing day, with Texas A&M, Oregon, and Ohio State also making major moves in the final stages. The Buckeyes were the hottest program in the nation in January, landing seven commits during the early signing period, including a handful of five-star prospects, to move into the top ten for 2024.
A recent surge of momentum captured by Mike Elko at Texas A&M will give the Aggies a chance to make noise in the SEC this fall. Texas A&M lost more than a dozen players to the portal as a result of coaching changes, but it has now reestablished itself as a threat with a premium talent overhaul. Most of the transfer portal’s top players for the 2024 cycle have already signed, and those that remain will likely choose schools after spring practice. There will be another portal window in May.
