In ten days, the NFL Combine will take place in Indianapolis, and the Arizona
Cardinals and other teams in the league will be preparing.
That will allow plenty of time for the rumour mill to get things going, but let’s move on to the next ESPN 2024 NFL Mock Draft for the time being.
This one is on E$PN+, of course, and comes from Field Yates.
Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
Few choice projections are as clear-cut as this one, as the Cardinals, who are desperate for wide receivers, have a chance to choose both my top-ranked wideout in this class and one of the most highly anticipated wideout prospects in recent years. Arizona has always needed a wide receiver, but Marquise Brown’s status as a free agency makes matters worse. Kyler Murray, the quarterback, would have an easier time getting along with Harrison, a 6-4, 205-pound player, the moment he walks into the team’s facilities. His classic size is combined with superb body control and route running.
He will be good, possibly great, but is it possible to place Latham and Will Hernandez on the same side of each other?
They can definitely run zone and gap schemes, but will they have enough mobility to be a puller or power?
If they say yes, I think this combo is fantastic in the opening round and that in rounds two and three they should come back and get some defence.
What do you think?
