Nolen, Wells, and other individuals shared on social media their reasons for using the transfer site to transfer from their individual colleges to Ole Miss.
“I feel that this is the place I need to be to grow more as a person and football player, on and off the pitch,” Nolen stated.
“I wanted to be a part of the winning culture Coach Kiffin built here,” Wells stated. “I also wanted an opportunity to play with the best QB in the SEC.”
Jaxson Dart of Ole Miss, who declared in early January that he planned to return to campus for his senior season, is the quarterback in question for Wells. Wells will re-join Tre Harris and Jordan Watkins, two important wide receivers.
Pete Golding’s side of the ball had a significant haul, which was highlighted defensively by Nolen, Umanmielen, Paul, and others. On3, Nolen was ranked as the nation’s second-best transfer overall, while Umanmielen ranked eleventh.
