“You’re paying for it,” Greene remarked, according to Cincinnati journalist Mike Petraglia.
“You make more than me,” De Le Cruz said. Greene, who signed a six-year, $53 million agreement with the Reds last season, is due to earn $3.33 million this year. De La Cruz, meanwhile, will make $770,000 from the Reds this season, according to Spotrac.
Greene also addressed the foul ball on Instagram, where he shared a photo with De La Cruz in front of the smashed window.
“Better have @safelife on speed dial,” Greene remarked in her Instagram story.
The Reds will play their first spring training game on Saturday, February 24 against the Cleveland Guardians at Goodyear Ballpark in Goodyear, Arizona
