After the trade occurred, Grimes took a few games before making his Detroit debut. After a five-game absence, Grimes made his debut against the Magic last Saturday. He checked in for 26 minutes. Throughout his first four-game stretch with the Pistons, Grimes averaged five points, two rebounds, and two assists. With his minutes regressing over the last two games, it’s apparent Grimes might’ve been experiencing soreness lately, which placed him on the injury report on Sunday, listed as questionable. Unfortunately, Grimes will miss Saturday’s matchup.
