Amarius Mims, a Georgia offensive tackle, was injured while running the 40-yard dash Sunday at the NFL Scouting Combine. Mims is widely regarded as one of the finest offensive lineman prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class, with an unusual combination of size and quickness. Teams, media, and fans were all excited to watch him compete in on-field drills Sunday, but Mims had to halt halfway through his second 40-yard dash run after appearing to pull up with a right hamstring strain.
Here’s hoping Mims was able to avoid any major injury that would impact his availability for the Bulldogs’ pro day workout later in the process, and that he’ll be back to full strength in plenty of time for his first NFL training camp.
2025 OL Henry Fenuku sets spring visits as stock skyrockets
Henry Fenuku has had an incredible spring. The 2025 offensive lineman from North Crowley (Texas) is a relative newbie to football, having just been playing for a few years since migrating to the nation from Ghana.
Fenuku began receiving offers in late fall, but his value is currently exploding, with Georgia, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and USC all entering the mix in the last two weeks.
