David Sanders Jr., an offensive tackle from Providence Day School, is currently the most sought-after recruit in Tennessee. The touted prospect has long discussed a return trip to Knoxville and has finally arranged one after a few months of rearranging his calendar. Sanders will visit a number of SEC powerhouses this offseason, including the Clemson Tigers. Clemson, Georgia, and Tennessee are leading this battle, although Alabama and South Carolina are catching up. Tennessee offensive line coach Glen Elarbee and his staff have done everything up to this point to attract Sanders’ attention.
Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre remains a key player in this contest. MacIntyre committed to the Vols in January and is the No. 14 recruit in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He has a close relationship with Sanders and has been pitching him on the opportunities available on Rocky Top.
Sanders is anticipated to make a formal visit to Tennessee, but the itinerary has yet to be determined. He is regarded as the No. 2 prospect in the 2025 class and has been in the national spotlight since his freshman year of high school.
