Following the 2023 college football season, the Georgia Bulldogs roster saw a few departures. In response to the large number of departures, the Bulldogs made a few moves of their own to guarantee that they had enough quality on their roster to compete for a national championship. With more recruits to this year’s team than in previous years, identifying all of the Bulldog newcomers may prove to be a major issue. Here is a list of new Bulldogs that are expected to make the largest impact in their first year with the squad.
TREVOR ETIENNE
Etienne’s transfer to the University of Georgia was one of Georgia’s biggest splashes in the transfer market this season, coming from their arch rivals the Florida Gators. With the departures of starting running backs Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards, Etienne will likely see a lot of touches in 2024.
ELLIS ROBINSON IV
Ellis Robinson IV, arguably the most skilled member of the Bulldogs’ 2024 recruiting class, has already been dubbed the “next great corner” at the University of Georgia. His impact on this Bulldogs team will most likely be felt almost immediately.
DANIEL CALHOUN
Calhoun, another member of the Bulldogs’ 2024 recruiting class, had an immediate impact when he came for the Bulldogs’ bowl practices. The former 4-star recruit has a great chance of becoming a staple on the Bulldogs’ offensive line.
LONDON HUMPHREYS
Humphreys rapidly gained attention among Georgia fans last season after catching a 49-yard touchdown pass against Vanderbilt. The incredibly gifted receiver will be a terrific addition to the Bulldogs, who will be missing two of its best receivers from the 2024 season.
KJ BOLDEN
KJ Bolden, one of the biggest surprises in the Dawgs’ 2024 recruiting season, has a wide range of skills that might enable him earn substantial snaps as a true freshman.
