The Detroit Lions declined to resign WR Josh Reynolds in free agency. Reynolds officially signed with the Denver Broncos on Wednesday afternoon.
This past season, Reynolds caught 40 passes for 608 yards and five touchdowns for the Lions. Reynolds inked a two-year contract worth up to $14 million with Denver. This gives Jameson Williams the opportunity to be the second wide receiver, and it may also provide Donovan Peoples-Jones with further opportunities. There’s also a chance Brad Holmes adds another wide receiver in the draft or free agency.
Detroit will host the NFL Draft from April 25th to 27th, and it also has the 29th overall pick in the draft.
