Born on July 28, 1999, Troy Randall Brown Jr. is an American professional basketball player who plays for the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s Detroit Pistons. 2017 McDonald’s All-American Brown was named in his senior year in high school. He was an Oregon Ducks collegiate basketball player.
Early life: Texas A&M University-Kingsville was the college home of Brown’s father, a basketball player, and mother, a track athlete. Jada, his sister, was a University of Kansas basketball player as well.

Scout.com, Rivals.com, and ESPN all ranked Brown Jr. as one of the top players in the 2017 recruiting class.[3][4] He made a commitment to play for the Oregon Ducks on November 7, 2016. When he joined the team as one of their best prospects for the upcoming season, he maintained this standing throughout his time in college.
