Antwann Hill used to have a commitment to play football for Colorado under Deion Sanders.
Although that promise was short-lived, one school appears to be exerting more effort than the others to secure Hill’s commitment now that the 2025 QB prospect is back in the running.
The Florida Gators are reportedly serious about include Hill in their recruiting class, according to On3.
According to Florida recruiting expert Keith Niebuhr, “We know that Antwann Hill is certainly in that group of three or four top guys that Florida is looking at.”
The over thirty offers that Warner Robins, Georgia, resident Hill has received stand out, including those from Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami, Penn State, and Tennessee.
But Florida might have an advantage because he has made several campus visits, including one for Junior Day in January of this year.
After that visit, he was all praise for the Gators as well.
Hill said to On3, “They most definitely made me feel like I was at home.” “It felt good to watch DJ Lagway work out and the way they handled him. It was encouraging to see how they brought in freshmen quarterbacks early and developed them to be ready for the SEC.”
Former five-star recruit Lagway committed to Florida as a member of Billy Napier’s 2024 class. Even though Hill is not as well regarded, he is still a very promising quarterback prospect.
The 247Sports composite rankings rank Hill as the sixth-best quarterback prospect.
