Caitlin Clark among early leaders in WNBA All-Star voting

IOWA CITY, Iowa– Former Hawkeye Caitlin Clark continues to emerge as one of the most dynamic box-office athletes in the world. On Friday, the WNBA released the early voting for the 2024 all-star game. The Indiana Fever star ranked second in total votes, first among guards. She only trailed Las Vegas Aces superstar A’Ja Wilson.

The Indiana Fever have now won four straight home games for the first time since August 2015. The duo of Aliyah Boston and Clark are really starting to gel together and are proving that they could be one of the most lethal 1-2 combos for years to come.

After dropping 18 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists in her last game, Clark has registered five games of 15+ points, 5+ assists and 5+ rebounds. No other rookie has achieved that since Breanna Stewart did so in 2016 with the Seattle Storm. Every player that has averaged 15/5/5 has made an All-WNBA team in the same season.
