OKC fan here again. I wanna apologize for all of the pseudo Thunder fans posting disrespectful things on your page. I was at the game. I feel horrible for Hailburton. Hopefully he will recover fully and have a great next season. Please understand, that not all OKC fans are idiots like the ones I’ve seen posting here. And as a fanbase we are just learning how to win with class. I only joined to see the banter because I’m a basketball nut. Most of these guys probably jumped on the bandwagon this season and have never been to a game. That said, for a team that was supposed to have no chance, you gave us all we wanted. Speaking for myself, you guys made me nervous all series. You just wouldn’t go away.❤️ I’m sure we have not heard the last of the Pacers. Great series. Nothing but, respect. Let’s do it again next year. Might try to make to Indy for a game next season.
First off, I just want to say thank you for an incredible series. I’m an OKC fan through and through, but I wanted to drop by and show some love and respect to your team and your fanbase. I know there’s been a lot of noise from so-called “Thunder fans” posting disrespectful things, and I want to sincerely apologize on their behalf. A lot of those folks either jumped on the bandwagon recently or haven’t been to a single game. That’s not who we are — not truly. We’re still a young fanbase learning what it means to win with class and handle the ups and downs of playoff basketball.
I was at the game, and it was clear how much heart your team brought, every possession. I feel genuinely awful about what happened with Tyrese Haliburton. He’s such a gifted, joyful player and a huge part of what makes your team so fun to watch. Here’s hoping he recovers fully and comes back even better next season. The league is better when guys like him are on the floor doing what they love.
You guys absolutely gave us everything we could handle. I’m not gonna lie — I was nervous the entire series. You just refused to go away. Every game, every run, every moment — the Pacers were right there. For a team that “wasn’t supposed to have a chance,” you played with grit, resilience, and swagger. It didn’t feel like a mismatch at all. That speaks volumes about your coaching, your culture, and your players’ heart. You’ve earned a lot of respect from this OKC fan.
I’m honestly looking forward to seeing this rivalry grow. Both teams are young, talented, and hungry. We might be seeing the start of something special between these two squads. And who knows — maybe next time the stakes will be even higher.
Thinking about trying to make it out to Indy for a game next season. Would love to experience Gainbridge in person and feel the energy from your side. Until then, much love and respect from OKC. Hold your heads high — your team did you proud.
