NEW ERA: RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS ANNOUNCE 2026 FAREWELL TOUR — “ONE LAST RIDE” MARKS THE END OF A ROCK LEGEND’S ERA DATES AND CITIES REVEALED – WATCH NOW!
In a stunning announcement that has left fans across the globe in disbelief, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have officially confirmed their 2026 Farewell Tour, titled “One Last Ride.” After more than four decades of redefining funk-rock, the Los Angeles legends are preparing to take their final bow — a celebration of passion, brotherhood, and the music that has shaped generations.
Frontman Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, guitarist John Frusciante, and drummer Chad Smith appeared together in an emotional live-streamed video from their Los Angeles rehearsal studio. Surrounded by vintage instruments, the band members reflected on their storied journey — one that began in the early ’80s and went on to produce some of the most iconic songs in rock history.
> “We’ve lived this dream longer than we ever imagined,” said Kiedis, his voice steady but reflective. “Now it’s time for one last ride together — for us, for the fans, for the music that’s been our heartbeat for forty years.”
The “One Last Ride” Farewell Tour will kick off on May 2, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, before heading to North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, culminating in an epic final performance at London’s Wembley Stadium in December 2026.
Each show will feature a mix of classic anthems — from “Californication” and “Under the Bridge” to “Give It Away” and “Scar Tissue” — alongside deep cuts and emotional tributes celebrating the band’s evolution. According to insiders, the band has been rehearsing extended jam sessions and surprise collaborations with past members and longtime musical friends.
The announcement video, released under the title “One Last Ride: The End of the Groove,” quickly went viral. It features black-and-white footage of the Peppers through the decades — sweaty club gigs, massive festival crowds, quiet backstage laughter, and emotional moments of unity. The video closes with Flea looking into the camera, saying, “Let’s dance it out one last time.”
Kiedis confirmed that the tour will also pay tribute to the band’s late guitarist Hillel Slovak, whose spirit, he said, “never left the Peppers’ sound.” Every show will include a short visual montage and instrumental jam in Slovak’s honor, underscoring the band’s deep roots and enduring brotherhood.
Tickets will go on sale in early November, with fan club members receiving early access and exclusive content, including behind-the-scenes rehearsals and interviews. Tour dates revealed so far include Los Angeles, New York, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, São Paulo, and London.
As the music world prepares to celebrate and say goodbye, Flea summed up the sentiment best:
> “We’ve laughed, cried, fallen, and gotten back up together. This band isn’t just a career — it’s our family. And now, we want to share one last ride with the people who made it all possible.”
The Red Hot Chili Peppers have never been just a band — they’ve been a heartbeat of love, chaos, and rhythm. And as “One Last Ride” approaches, fans everywhere are ready to groove, cry, and celebrate the end of an unforgettable era.
The Chili Peppers are going out the way they came in — loud, fearless, and full of fire.
