NEW ERA: URIAH HEEP ANNOUNCE 2026 FAREWELL TOUR — “THE FINAL SALUTE” DATES AND CITIES REVEALED!
A monumental chapter in rock history is drawing to a close. British rock pioneers Uriah Heep have officially announced their 2026 Farewell Tour, entitled “The Final Salute,” marking the end of one of the most storied and influential careers in the world of hard rock and progressive music. With over five decades of powerful performances and timeless albums, Uriah Heep’s final global trek will be a celebration of legacy, brotherhood, and the enduring bond with their fans.
The announcement came via an emotional video posted to the band’s social media accounts, featuring longtime guitarist and founding member Mick Box, who has been the soul of the band since its inception in 1969.
“This is it — one last journey together with all of you,” Box said. “It’s not goodbye to the music, but it is farewell to the road. After more than 50 incredible years, this is our final salute to fans all over the world who kept the fire burning for Uriah Heep.”

An Emotional Milestone for Rock Legends
Since their formation in 1969, Uriah Heep has released more than 25 studio albums, performed in over 60 countries, and sold millions of records worldwide. Albums like “Demons and Wizards” (1972), “The Magician’s Birthday” (1972), and “Look at Yourself” (1971) remain cornerstones of the classic rock and proto-metal sound.
In the press release, Mick Box reminisced about the band’s highs and lows, from humble beginnings to playing massive festivals and earning worldwide acclaim.
“We’ve had line-up changes, tragedies, and triumphs — but the music was always there. The fans, the friendships, the stages — it’s all been magic. Now we get to say thank you in the loudest, proudest way possible.”
Vocalist Bernie Shaw, who has been with the band since 1986, echoed the sentiment:
“This tour will be one big thank-you note. We’re putting together a setlist that spans our entire career — from the deep cuts to the anthems. This will be the ultimate Heep experience.”
Farewell Releases and Legacy Projects
To coincide with the tour, BMG is preparing a limited-edition box set titled “Heep Legacy: The Final Salute Collection”, due in February 2026. The set will include remastered albums, rare live recordings, a coffee-table book of photos and stories, and newly unearthed demo tracks from the band’s early days.
Additionally, a long-awaited documentary, “Easy Livin’: The Uriah Heep Story”, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in March 2026. The documentary will chronicle the band’s early struggles, musical evolution, global tours, and the brotherhood that carried them through the decades.
Tickets and VIP Packages
General ticket sales for “The Final Salute” begin July 20, 2025, with pre-sales for official fan club members starting on July 15. VIP packages will include meet-and-greets, exclusive merchandise, access to pre-show rehearsals, and limited-edition memorabilia signed by the band.
Promoters expect record demand for many of the venues, particularly in Europe and South America where the band retains a passionate following.
The End of the Road, But Not the End of the Spirit
Though Uriah Heep will soon step away from touring life, the music, spirit, and influence they’ve left on generations of rockers will endure. “The Final Salute” will not just be a farewell — it will be a triumphant and emotional celebration of a band that never stopped believing in the power of music.
As Mick Box declared in closing:
“We came in with guitars blazing, and we’ll go out the same way. One more time for the Heep family — let’s make it legendary!”
Long live the Heep.
