Similar to previous offseasons, Ole Miss will have three Rebels attending the NFL combine to demonstrate their athleticism in front of hundreds of NFL professionals in Indianapolis.
This year’s Ole Miss football graduates who will be testing at the combine are Daijahn Anthony, a safety; Cedric Johnson, a defensive end/linebacker; and Deantre Prince, a cornerback. The Lucas Oil Stadium will host this year’s 2024 NFL Combine from February 29 to March 3.
Anthony said last week that he had been invited to the combine, as hinted at in one of our earlier reports, but Johnson and Prince had not.

This offseason, the three are playing in all-star games in front of NFL scouts. On Thursday, February 1, Prince and Anthony will play together for the East team in the East-West Shrine Bowl. Conversely, Johnson will participate in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Saturday, February 3, in the backyard of his home town of Mobile, Alabama, merely two days later.
Since the 2020 campaign, Prince and Johnson have been a mainstay of the Rebel defense. During his time at Ole Miss, Johnson recorded 112 tackles, four passes batted, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one blocked kick, and 19 sacks in 29 starts (46 games played). Throughout his Rebel career, Prince has started 36 games (51 games total), amassing 146 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 27 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles, and 6 interceptions.
Johnson and Prince were two elements that Ole Miss’ defense was never moving, even though the defense required improvement heading into the 2023 campaign. Throughout their last season with the Red and Blue, they performed to the highest standards set for them.
