Good news: Zwane was astonished by the latest Sundowns signing.

Mamelodi Sundowns superstar Themba Zwane has lauded one of the club’s new signings. He goes by the name of Kobamelo Kodisang.

The 24-year-old winger from Rustenburg has left Moreirense FC in Portugal for a five-year contract with Sundowns. Speaking to the media after the deal, club captain Zwane said he did not expect the move but is neverthless excited to welcome a new quality player.

“I was surprised, I was not following him that side. But I was surprised when he came back,” said Zwane via FARPost.

“But he’s a good player. We’re happy that he took that decision and came back to try to win us trophies. It shows that they [Mamelodi Sundowns] want quality players and a quality squad so that we can compete. He can dribble and create those goals,” the Tembisa-born star concluded
