The multi-champion Eli Tomac re-signs with Star Racing Yamaha for the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship series. “I anticipate 2025 being my final full season of professional SMX racing.”
Big news today as Eli Tomac, the 4x 450MX Pro Motocross Champion and 2x 450SX Monster Energy AMA Supercross Champion, will return to the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team for the entire 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship campaign.
The Colorado native has had a tough go during the past two seasons, missing the summer’s Pro Motocross Championship from AMA Supercross injuries. Those injuries (2023 Achilles and 2024 thumb injury) have kept the multi-champion from competition for the summer. His deals from previous years have been with Supercross-only contracts with Pro Motocross options.
In 2025, Tomac signed for the entire SMX series (AMA Supercross, Pro Motocross, and SMX Finals). In the press release, Tomac mentioned that this would be his final run in the full SMX series.
