Victor Osimhen has reportedly drawn their attention once more, since he has been one of their main targets for the past 12 months.
But rumors circulated that Enzo Maresca was not all that interested in adding Osimhen, and discussions about a possible inclusion appeared to wane.
However, there have recently been rumors of a possible loan arrangement, which would surely be Todd Boehly’s biggest business to date.
Despite that, it has since been claimed that the Serie A side would far prefer a permanent sale, although they are prepared to drop their asking price.
Napoli want £84m for Chelsea target Osimhen
Gazzetta reports that Napoli is now requesting a minimum of £84 million, instead of the release clause they were ostensibly waiting for a team to activate.
Osimhen would undoubtedly provide Chelsea a lot of alternatives for their attack in the upcoming campaign, but it’s unclear if his play style would fit Maresca’s vision for the team.
