An Open Letter from Sony Michel to Derrick Henry, Fans, and the Entire Georgia Bulldogs Community

Dear Derrick, Fans, and the Entire Georgia Bulldogs Community,

I hope this message finds you all in great spirits. As I sit down to reflect on my journey as a Bulldog, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible experiences and the unwavering support I’ve received from each and every one of you.

First, I want to address Derrick Henry, one of the greatest running backs to ever play the game. Derrick, your accomplishments are nothing short of legendary, and your relentless drive has inspired so many of us. You’ve shown that hard work and dedication can break barriers, and for that, I have the utmost respect. The way you carry yourself on and off the field is something I’ve admired throughout my career. Thank you for setting the bar so high and showing us what greatness looks like.

To the fans of the Georgia Bulldogs, you have been my rock. From the moment I stepped on campus, I knew I was part of something special. Your support has been overwhelming, your passion infectious, and your loyalty unbreakable. Whether in the stands at Sanford Stadium or cheering from home, you made me feel like I was always playing for something bigger than myself. I can never fully express how much that means to me.

To my fellow teammates, coaches, and the entire Georgia football family, thank you for the camaraderie, for pushing me to be better, and for the countless memories that I will carry with me forever. Together, we achieved something incredible, and I will always treasure the friendships and experiences that were born from those years on the field.

As I move forward in my career, I will always cherish my time at Georgia. The lessons I learned, the bonds I formed, and the pride I felt wearing that red and black jersey will stay with me forever. No matter where life takes me, I will always be a Bulldog.
