Leeds United could sign forward Manchester United released in 2020 if Burnley refuse to sell Manuel Bens

Leeds United are now looking to improve the attacking department after receiving £40m from Brighton for Georginio Rutter.

Daniel Farke desperately needs a new forward at Elland Road after Crysencio Summerville was also poached along with the Frenchman.

Leeds United are very keen to sign Manuel Benson from Burnley – according to Sacha Tavolieri – but if a deal for the Angola international does not materialise, the Whites could sign a player Manchester United let go…

Leeds United considering Largie Ramazani

A story from the Yorkshire Evening Post now states that Largie Ramazani is on Leeds United‘s shortlist along with Calvin Stengs.

It is said that the Belgian is being considered by those at Elland Road, although Norwich City No.27 Jonathan Rowe, Benson and Stengs are preferred.

However, Rowe looks set to join Marseille, while the Yorkshire Evening Post add that Burnley are reluctant to sell Benson to Leeds United as the Clarets consider Farke’s side to be a direct promotion rival, while also writing that Feyenoord have told Farke Stengs is going nowhere.

Therefore, Ramazani – who Manchester United released in 2020 – could soon become the main attacking target for Leeds United, if Scott Parker refuses to let the Burnley No.10 move to Yorkshire

The 23-year-old moved to Almeria after departing Old Trafford, where he has scored 22 goals in 128 appearances, while also providing nine assists.

Ramazani typically plays on the left – where he has made 58 appearances in his career – but can also operate on the right or in the centre, with over 20 games played in each position.

Deal for Manchester United outcast could be quite cheap

If Benson does not join Leeds United, a deal for Ramazani – who has been likened to Vinicius Junior – could be quite straightforward to complete if the Almeria No.10 shows interest in joining the Whites.

The Belgium U21 international only has 11 months remaining on his contract with the Spanish side, who would – presumably – much rather receive a fee for the winger than lose him for free in 2025.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Leeds United could turn to Ramazani if talks to sign Benson from Burnley do not progress.
